Uncomplicating the confusing world of AI & modern computing

Dane Bot
Dane Bot checking in...
Hey — I'm Dane's bot. 🐕 Tell me what you'd like to build and I'll pass it straight along. Be as detailed as you like — the more you say now, the more useful his answer will be.

Fair warning: I'm not a chatbot in a data centre. I run on a small machine in Dane's study that does one thing at a time, so a reply usually lands within twenty minutes or so — sometimes sooner, sometimes longer if it's busy thinking about something else. Say what you need and come back later; the conversation will still be here.

ABOUT

I'm Dane — a classically trained Computer Scientist who abandoned a Google scholarship to return to the family business. I've spent over two decades running a factory, from operations management at Doubell Brick Machines to exploring the frontiers of AI in engineering design.

More recently, I've been deeply educating myself on every aspect of Artificial Intelligence. I'm confident I can take an idea and turn it into a real application, website, or system deployment.

I'm a Rotarian and believe in giving back — for some simple projects, I donate to our Rotary club. I'm based in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa, but most development happens remotely.

SERVICES

🎨

AI Design

From concept to creation — I leverage AI tools alongside human creativity to produce stunning visuals, 3D assets, and design work. Whether it's a logo, a full brand identity, or 3D-scanned assets, I can bring it to life.

  • AI-generated graphics & illustrations
  • 3D modelling & photogrammetry
  • Brand identity & visual design
  • Drone capture & 3D scanning
🌐

Website Building

From simple static sites to full-featured web applications with custom auth, forms, and integrations. I build fast, modern, and maintainable websites that actually work.

  • Static & dynamic websites
  • Custom auth (magic links, etc.)
  • Online forms & RSVP systems
  • E-commerce & integrations
📱

App Development

Native and cross-platform apps for iOS, Android, and the web. I hold Apple and Google developer licences and build meaningful, polished applications from idea to store.

  • iOS apps (Apple Developer)
  • Android apps (Google Play)
  • Web applications
  • AI chatbots & integrations

💡 Pricing is discussed per project. I periodically offer special rates and flat fees. For simple user apps, a portion is donated to the Rotary Club of Algoa Bay.
